ID this fish for me please

Hi, can someone please identify this fish for me. It was in a tank in the LFS with some 'red devils' and a couple of flower horns.
I bought it thinking it was a red devil with maybe a chance of it having a bit of flower horn in it. Its intial colouration was very pale like the rest of its tank mates which led me to believe this. When i got it home it got darker in colour and started looking very different. It almost looks like a convict at times due to its markings but has the wrong shape.The pics below are pretty crappy ones off my phone but there are some which show both colourations (light and dark). What they don't show is faint speckling of colour in the dorsal and caudal fins which is gold and blue flecks.

Thanks for the ideas.... yeah sorry for the pics, the quality of them certainly makes it hard and possibly misleading.... at one stage I did think it was a barred midas but to be honest I am not leaning that way anymore... Its very frustrating as I would love to know what it is.... it is extremely aggresive though that is for sure... and it is only 2' big..... I would prefer to know what it is before I plan what to do with it.

Yeah, I hate to say hybrid so fast, but yeah. Has the looks of a convict but with a 35% longer body, lol! I think it's an Elongocon.
