Hi,

the first answer from Peter was absolutely correct, its Channa lucia/lucius. Clearly to identify by the donwards bending brown band through the eye of the fish.
Parachanna africana looks totally different, P. obscura looks a bit more like lucius , but only if you havent ever seen obscura or lucius
