ID this fish please? Very strange.

Hey all, I'm still trying to identify some weird fish. This one is clearly a bottom dweller, so I thought I'd try a thread in here. (Obviously I'm not talking about the cuvieri hovering above!)

Wow! Don't know if it's the same or not, but I googled the species and they're all amazing!! I love fish that are so ugly they go right around to being cute XD

THEY'RE SO UGLY! I WANT ONE! Why do they have to lower Ph? I'll have one someday. And I'll feed it whatever it wants and take hundreds of pictures of it's ugly little face. I'd hug it if it wasn't all spiney.

hahahaha! u GO! u have to lower the ph cuz the come from fairly acidic waters, and go get u one, they can get a little pricey, depending on the season but they are pretty avalable for order. from what i understand they dont do to much tho, so dont offer to many hidding spot if u want to see him regularly
 
Oh, so it's okay for them that the Ph stays low? I read that they lower it all by themselves so you have to 'watch the water quality'. But if they like it like that, then bonus^^ I'MMA GET ME AN UGLYFISH! People think plecos are bad, watch me with this little bruiser...

Those aren't chaca chacas.
Those are Lophiosilurus alexandri AKA Pac-Man Catfish and can grow around 30in.
the ph should be around neutral.
