went collecting and caught some new fish and caught this one and dont know what it is can someone id it?

still has juvenile colors but yeah I 2nd bluegill (possibly a hybrid sunfish?)

Thats a bluegill.

A much better picture would be helpful.

Many Lepomis have a dark opercular flap...so that doesnt necessarily mean that it is a bluegill.

Hybrids amongst centrarchids are obscenely common as well.
