ID This Fish Please!

Hi community,

I've done my basic research and I've looked on your sticky threads for IDing Cichlas, yet I am still struggling to ID the following. It is from a Peruvian dealer who claims they are caught wild in the Nanay River, and are Cichla Temensis.

They don't like tems to me, I could be wrong though. They look more mono ish to me.

Almost impossible to tell in that pic with how stressed they are. Body shape is not predominant enough at that size to exclude mono from Tem and so on. Get us less stressed pics or you're only going to get people guessing.

This is from the importer, and that's all he has. For the amount that he's asking I don't think it's worth it. Worth paying that bit more and getting assured Temensis
