ID This fish.

So the other day this lady comes into my store and hands me a cup with what she claims to be a female betta in it. It has the body of one but I've never seen markings like this on any betta other than a king betta. Anyways she gave it to me because she didn't want it anymore. So Ive been treating this thing like a betta but I'm not 100% on this. Help me out?

sorry for the bad pics. it's as good as it gets with this fish. If you need me to try for a more specific area of the fish I can try.

deffinately a female betta, got one that looks alot like that only bigger. she's pretty sassy too! as far as female bettas go. prolly wild genetics surfaceing.

Gorgeous female betta...From the first pic I thought it might have been a sparkling or liqriouce gourami but its a female betta

Ceertainly looks like a betta but maybe one of the other species rather than betta splendens?
