ID this fish

I found this picture on the top of "liveaquaria's" page but I'm not sure what it is, I can't find anything that looks similar in their freshwater section, is it saltwater? IMO the head looks like that of a red bay snook, but I've never seen a snook with spotting like this...

I would but I don't think they keep that image the same on a daily basis so if I ask "hey what's that fish at the top of the page" and it changes to a guppy...ill never find out lol. But I agree it is a gorgeous fish!

Haha good question, I found the X-ray of a fish online one day and played around with it on photoshop, this image is actually a tattoo on my arm now

mmm looks like a pike or red bay x something lol.

the xray looks like a red tail to be honest. the head shape and gill plate bone.

My honest opinion looking at the fish and its color I would say its saltwater as for exactly what it is I don't know but I'm like 97% sure it's saltwater
