I think she looks dark because she is trying to breed with my trimac. I just obtained her two days ago and shes about 6 inched long. Face and head sorta remind me of a midas

she has a little bit of the bluish spots to her though, not like I see on most of the texas's but kinda and she has a lot of pink to her
