Im buying a 150 gal on sunday and the guy whose selling me the tank is giving me the two fish that are in the tank. He doesnt know what they are. (Hes selling the tank for his sister.)

I cant tell in the picture what they are.
 
definitely agree with the lower being a red hook (possibly), top looks silver dollarish but its mouth looks more beaky than a typical sd
 
ya I have to agree RH and SD...

the common names of all metynnis and myleus are 'silver dollars'

if you go to any local fish store, this is what you see them listed as..

eg. Red Hook Silver Dollar

black bar silver dollar

common silver dollar

etc.

I was not quoting the genus and species names..
but I can if you like :)

Over here in the UK, they don't put silver dollar on the end of the names.
