its reddish in colour of lateral line and finnage , i have never seen any gars thats red in colour

common spotted gar ? whats the scientific name ? is it reddish in colour and d local LFS label it as golden gar?

yes a common spotted gar. as it matures the line breaks up and spots form.

yep, thats what i have been told and experienced, mine had just began to split and then i fed it to my arow

Actually your fish looks more like a Shortnosed than a spotted
Could you get some pics that a bit more clear?
