I got two of them today labeled as "Spiny Eel", but I just wanna be sure what it is first.

Peacock eels Macrognathus aculeatus ,thats my guess anyway

can't remember the SCI name the normal peacock has 5 eye spots on its tail that one has only 2 its a less common eel but will still be sold as peacock

They both have a different amount of spots.
