Hey guys I need some help had been down to the river near my place and i caught this snake head not sure about which one it is plz help me out here !!!

So I think it's a channa punctata. No bankanensis.
But wait for the other experienced channa keepers as Brucki and others
hes a nastly lil fella .....!!!! I put in some feeder guppies mahn i loved the way the guy hunts !!

this is 100% punctata. very easy to id by the big black spot on the shoulder.
Very widespread species in india.
