ID this juvenile fish please........

Hi just picked it up from a mixed tank, any ideas??

How big is it? Might be hormoned.

I suspect it is hormoned but took a chance as it has nice fins and i havent seen one like this before. I thought taiwan reef but not so sure. Its just over 2".

Most likely hormoned. Nice pickup for a mixed tank, though.

Basically, the store or supplier feeds hormones to the fish, which makes it "color up" for a short period of time. With peacocks and haps, only males color up, and females are grey and drab. Regardless of the sex, hormones will give a fish color. In general, colorful fish sell better.
