ID this lizard

I caught it in a bottle a couple of months ago (in the evening), he wasn't so fast. I put it in a transparent box, kept it there for about 1 day and I've let it go. He did not want to eat/neither drink. He was quite small, about 3'' I believe.
What specimen could this be? To me it looks like a gecko, but don't know exactly what species.

Looks like a crocodile gecko to me. They have a really long "M" name but I can't spell it. Something like maurituania or something
