ID this Mesonauta pls

Just picked these up at the lfs here. They thought they were selling me gouramies. Not quite sure about the species though, leaning towards egregius.

Pretty hard to tell from those shots. Looks like either festivus or egregius but I've never kept Mesonauta sp.

How long have they been settled in? May need to let them pack on a bit more size (and in the case of Mesonauta, width) and get some clear shots for the experienced keepers down the track.

Got them 3 hours ago, they'll be in quarantine for a month. Shots are from the phone, will get some better ones this weekend. Thanks for the reply though

Grow them out a bit and post more pictures after they have settled in and put on some weight. Also, the bars and markings go a long way in helping with identification, so try to get pictures when they're displaying their bars (I know this is tricky because they only show the bars when frightened, stressed, fighting, or courting...).
