ID this mystery pickup

Got him at a random Chinatown fish store unplanned today for $20. Might have been kinda a rip but hey, he was cute and alone in a tank with a pleco and a HUGE pacu.

Sorry pics aren't that clear, using cell phone zoom + he's gray + hiding.



Maybe 4'' long, looks kinda like a leaf fish to me.

He seems very dark, but his body outline, eyes and mouth remind my of a Leopard Bush Fish. I think scientific is Ctenopoma acutirostre
