I feel very privilaged and lucky to have this pair, these pictures are in a tank before i got them,i will post more pics when they are settled in my tanks.

btw they have also been dna tested(hint 4)

wow those are pretty.

The fene I had, his back, was a plain arch. This one looks like more hump of a head..

I'll just guess some kind bifa. Could it be Pink bifa? Super nice man.

not fene or bifa(i thought fene also)until i was informed about the dna testing and the fact they are going to be presented in a new cichlid book as a new paratheraps ,they have not been officially named yet,but the person they are going to be named after will be putting out his book soon.

will be posting more pics when they settle in,they had a long four day journey .

After searching through my big book of central cichlids, I came up with... Theraps sp. "Conkel" from Lago Catemaco, Mexico. The book is the same age as me... 16. :D BTW The book is Cichlids of North & Central America by Donald Conkel.

That fish turned out NOT to be a new species.

This new fish is from Conkel too.

we have a winner,it will be officiallly named soon.he has finally gotten a breeding program going and will be releasing these fish in the hobby soon. This is a breeding pair i was privilaged enough to get from him.and btw it has been tested and is now a separate species(thats why i said new)
