I was told its an Ocellaris Bass any thoughts or ideas? I am thinking of buying, listed for 40.00, about 5.5inches. I know allot about these fish and have a large tank so I am just trying to get ideas and thoughts from anyone thanks. Also if I got another is it best to get more of the same type or any type of peacock bass? THANKS

also I hear this is a rarer type any thought? seems to me not really as lots of people have this type.

Ya look Occell a nice one ...

ya I am going to look at some local fish shops and see if anyone has a good batch of PB, I would like to get 3-4, grow them out in my tank a good bit then have a good reason to get a really really big tank :-)

Looks like a nice occel. NOt rare...but hard finding a nice non-hybrid one. Keep cichla in groups of 1 or 3 or more. You can keep diff. sub species together. But try and stay away from temensis unless you understand their super incredible growth rate and extreme size.

Thanks for all the info guys, much apprecieated. I will go look at him today. Just wish this guy had three now lol

Also do you think that a fair deal 40.00??
