THey'd be fine. They're aschooling fish though, try to get 5 or 6 more.

What about it turning into Oscar food? I see silver scales flying everywhere! SerIously, I was thinking that they would be a relatively slow grower compared to the oscar and dempsey. To be honest, I've never kept one. I have been around alot of them working in aquarium stores in the past.Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so. Good luck.
 
Its about 6". Zero chance of being eaten by either of my big guys as I have much smaller fish of a similar enough build (flagtail) that have never been looked at twice
