ok so i have never really been interested in SW but my neighbor gave me a 29 gal biocube so i said what the heck if its free its for me he gave it to me because he was moving so... i get it home and set it up and then he comes down and gave me a bag of 4 corals and said he forgot to give me them earlier 2 mushrooms a colony of zoanthid and this what is this and do i need to feed it? thanks

That looks like Goniopora. Very poor sucess rate in aquariums--for expert keepers only:

Thanks so much and I did alittle research and think its alvepora and It seems to be doing pretty good

Alveopora is way easier to jeep alive. Mine started receding recently though, along with my Duncans. They're starting to come back, especially the Duncans.
