Nope, the caudal is too thick to be a Scaphirhynchus

Juvenile Lake Sturgeon?? I hope its not wild caught though due to the fact its illegal in Saskatchewan to keep any sturgeon.

No no it's definitely not wild caught. Its not mine or even in a pet store. This fish pic was sent to me by my gf who is attending university, the sturgeon is in the university and it's labeled white sturgeon but I think it's wrong and I wanted people's opinions from this site cuz there's a lot of knowledgeable people here

Is the fish located in the biology building at the University of Saskatchewan??? I know they have sturgeon in tanks there but I always believed them to be the native lake sturgeon.
