ID This Pleco Please!!!

I just picked up this pleco yesterday, and it was labeled a Green Phantom. It clearly looks different than regular Green Phantom Pleco's, but it is green. I attached the best pic I could get, but if I get a better one I will put it up. It is a dark green color, with lots of tiny spots on the head, getting bigger as they go down toward the tail. It has white on the tip of the tail fin. Any info would be nice. Also, was $40 too much....it's about 6". Thanks.

That is right, L-128, blue phantom or blue spotted. Good price for a healthy pleco this size. Nice fish, I have 2 blue and 2 green same size and the green on the green phantom is very light almost yellowish. Blue is more rare and a bit more expensive also.
 
Sure looks like a Green Phantom to me. The Green Phantom L# is 200, the Blue Phantom L# is 128-same fish. The shades of color vary quite a bit. My L200 is a dark yellow mustardy color, almost gray.
 
Yeah it does look like the blue phantom, rather than green, because most pics I have seen of the green phantom have big spots on the head, and are alot lighter green. Do blue phantoms sometimes have a dark greenish look?

I have indeed seen L128 that look more like L200
 
What is the max size of these guys? I have read 7" and 8"? Has anyone ever had larger? Also does anyone know how to sex them?
