Hi all,

Just got this piece from a supplier recently. It has 14-16 finlets(dunno if I count correctly) on top and its pattern is not the usual one I find at a LFS.

I was wonder If it's CB Bichir Bichir or just a normal CB nigerian or guinea Lap. All help is appreciated. Thanks

Looks like a CB PBB too me. :D I also counted 15-16 dorsal finlet, contrast on it looks like a CB PBB. ;)

^So High contrast makes PBB? and low contrast is Lap?
Not really, I just can tell from the dorsal fin and headshape doesn't seem like a lapradei to me.

You're Kohaku from AF, I suppose? From its skull shape, it seems more like a nigerian lap than a PBB. Although laps usually have only 14~15 finlets(counted 15 for yours), there are cases whereby laps have 16 finlets, as mentioned by Kinge-el. If you wanna confirm its identity, you can consult your supplier about its origin to clarify.

I think its a lap doesnt look like pbb

:( 4 to 1.
