It does look like a black but I can't tell if its wild caught or not plus I don't know if the have been bred in captivity but seri's don't school

Blacks are most unlikely to breed in captivity, i believe a zoo managed, but there all 99.9999999% wc fish.

Looks like a black to me. Keep in mind I do not keep piranhas. Did you get just the 1 or a group? Pretty sure they should be kept in groups of 5+

Rhoms are best kept solo. Reds keep 5+. More than one rhom = dead rhom m
