Cool burrfish. Keeps a nice pattern through adulthood.

thanks man i read ur profile ur b-day is one day before my dad (july 2 58) strange huh
anyhow i read that they are a "restricted" in florida and maybe everywhere else? what exaclt does this mean? do i need to put it back or is it ok now that its here? just gettin opinions

thanks

o and when it gets to nig can sell it or no since its "restricted"??

First, never release a captive fish to back to the wild. If it picks up anything from your tanks, it could spread it to the wild populations with possibly disasterous results.
I only know of 2 restrictions concerning these burrfish in FL. There was a ban on catching any Tetraodontiforme, due to their feeding on red tide organisms. As far as I could find, that ban was lifted shortly after the last red tide. The other restriction is imposed upon shrimp harvesters. That restriction only limits the areas drag netters can look for shrimp due to other fish populations found in the same area.
These fish are offered by several marine suppliers so, I think you're OK to sell it.

BTW, even though the burrfish more closely resembles boxfish, they can do something boxfish can't:
