ID this ray?

what does this one look like to you? i thinks its reticula.

i cant really see the pattern on the ray itself. try a closer pic of the top and a side view of the tail. or you can look up a few rays in the lounge. and what is it on the tip of its tail dosent look good

Retic. Tail is broken but still hanging on, basically starting to rot/infected with fungus. Looks quite skinny from this angle as well.

is the reason you cannot see the pattern on this retic beacuase it is more mature individual and their patterns fade as the age? or is that wrong. still learning...

well its a retic, and at about 5". i got him for free today. any suggestions to nurse this little guy back to health. iono about the tail, but it looks just fine to me.

thats not what it looks like in my tank, just looks like a normal tail, that pic was taken from the previous owner.

Gshock is 100% right,theres about 2.5 inches missing from the end of the tail and no it wont grow back,if its healed now thats fine,if not add a half ounce per gallon of pond salt or cooking salt to the water,this will stop further infection.
