No idea, looks cool though.

I am not a shrimp expert, so I asked my largemouth bass: "Shrimpus Tastyus"

From the faint stripes and the claw structure I would guess that it is the freshwater market prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) most commonly grown to eat

That is exactly what I had in my planted tank. I bought 10 of them and all but 3 jumped out of the tank. So, I decided to put one in for my puffer cause he loves crayfish. Well, that shrimp is lightning fast. My puffer got him and ate the back half, when he went to eat the front, the spear on the head of the shrimp stabbed my puffer. The puffer was shaking his head back and forth violently to try shake it but it took like 20 seconds. It injured the hell out of the puffers mouth. No more shrimp in my tank. GRRRR. Make sure no one eats it.

anyone keep that before?

Macrobrachium rosenbergii (udang galah) or a related species. Distribution from Pakistan to Australia; maximum length: 60 cm.

What are you keeping them with?
