ID this turtle if possible

Wondering if any one can tell me what kind of turtle this is my bro found him and I wanna make sure I tend to it properly. Seems like a musk turtle to me but I have never seen one just a guess. Since we only have red ear sliders and map turtles. Sorry if the pics arent that great taken with my phone .
