I recently saw a video on FB and wanted to know what exactly is this fish.
I know it's some kind of bluegill / sunfish family but what is the exact species?

Please do guide on what tanksize is required to keep a solo specimen and should I add dithers or not

I don't know the species, but it is a Centrarchid of the genus Lepomis, exhibiting agonistic behavior against an Geophaginid cichlid. Those two species are not compatible longterm, but due to aggression (I believe), but also due to temperature preferences.
Hopefully you will get a better answer from people who know both groups better than myself.

I agree
They reach between 10" to 12", and are seasonally very territorial.
A 6ft tank for a pair.
Can be treated the same as any similar sized cichlid, although room temp without a heater is fine.
I used to dive with them in northern Wisconsin lakes that froze over in winter.
