These bass were caught in your local stream/river/lake? The second picture looks to be a common pbass caught in Singapore. A mixture of Mono/Orino/with a dash of Tem. I would Love to get my hands on a group of these bass. Great pick up non the less.
If that's the case, I have No Idea what they are to be honest. There are only 3 sp. of cichla that comes out Colombia. Orino's, Mono's and Tems.
You can tell a cichla species apart from their pattern, color shape and size.
I think it goes:
Family=Cichlidae
Genus= Cichla
Species= A specific name given to a cichla, I.E Nigromaculata

I've got 3 pieces from a friend here in Los Angeles and I'm at a loss as to what they are. The bigger they get the more spangles show. I'm new to cichla so I could t tell you what they are. Mine also have the fourth bar which is awkward. Look here you go not the best picture but you get the picture.

Looking at yours Julian270, yours looks like a Cichla monoculus "Enviria Lake". If it turns out looking like the only photo on the web, how much you want for them?
OP's your bass has a short head and the shape is off for being a typical Mono and/or ocell. Also, the op's 2nd and 3rd picture the head looks like a orinos head if that. To be honest, I have no clue what OP's bass is. No one post any updates of their Putomayo's in a while or at all.
