exporters put alot of names on rays... ask for a pic of the ray from the seller.. just because it says one type of ray doesnt mean it is that type..
Magdelenae come from the Magdelena river in Colombia.. My guess is it will be an unidentified brown ray from Colombia, more than likely Orbignyi. P. Magdelenae is an actual species scientifically, but I have never seen a confirmed wild specimen. Mikofish.com has a picture of one from Venezuela.. ?
