Those are Bichirs, $100 seems a lot for only 10 inches, then again I'm cheap when it comes to paying for fish lol They certainly are nice though, probably worth it. I would low ball him at $65 and hope he wouldn't go past 75

From the picture it looks like it has a decent size lip so maybe one of the larger species, but I haven't looked I to bichirs for a few years so my knowledge with them has changed. If they are the more common ones I would not pay $50 each. I got a 12in endlicheri for $60 about 3-4years ago and about 18 4-6inchers for about $130-140.

I don't think thats a bad price. Usually LFS sells them for $49.99 4-6". In Ohio thats a really good price for 10" in other areas might be kind of high.
Thanks. If they were actually 10inches that sounds pretty consistent with stuff around here, I hit a few fish shops this weekend.
