So I got this fish from a friend. It started last fall in a 10gal with two other "assorted african cichlids". They unplugged the tank and stopped feeding at christmas. Since then almost two-thirds of the water has evaporated and te wo other cichlids have dissappearred. I took him and the tank (for free) a few days ago. He's acclimated to the quarentine tank just fine and so far has been eating soft sprulina pellets twice a day. Already fairly active and responsive swimming to the front of the tank to greet me/beg for food.
I've been thinking of putting it into my mbuna colony, but i'd like to know what species it is before i introduce it.
