ID?

Just trying to get an ID on my pleco...only thing I know is it's a bristle nose of some sort.

X2 looks female. How big is it?

Right around 2"...it was probably about 1.5" a few weeks ago when I got it and it's definitely grew a lil longer and filled out some since then.

Then it's still a little early to sex 100%, but i'd still guess female

I rarely see it, it seems to like spending most of it's time in the caves of the artificial stumps I have. Had to rush to get this picture when I noticed it was out.

How long do these typically get? Guy at the LFS said roughly 6" is that correct?

Yea, around 6" is typical. I have seen a couple over 6"TL, but usually 6" is the common max size.
