Sorry guys no pics as yet having trouble uploading. Got a large knife fish about 10 " the other day its brown looks like an african knife but does not have as high of a back arch and had larger eyes also it has yellow/gold spots running up its flanks. Did look through some posts on here an could not find it.

24" as an adult...consider 36" to be a 'monster'...so somewhere between or close to those numbers.
