not a flathead... I used to know the name but I forget now. I think its a South American cat. A really awesome catfish in my opinion but coincidentally I am also a flathead catfish fisherman and think they are about the bees knees too.

Cephalosilurus genus for sure. Species is tough - only three species, apurensis, fowleri, and nigricaudus. Could be apurensis. The experts could not agree on the three of mine, so I have no chance. Planet Catfish Cat-eLog needs a rework on this genus for sure.

that is definitely it. I was thinking of fowleri. Sweet group of cats, especially to a flathead guy!!
