These were labels as synspilum. U was wondering what type of syn. And I know the black ones in the background are polleni cichlids. Just need an ID on the syns.

my friend had baby syns before but i dont think these are sysns because they're to dark but lets wait for the experts

I find them too streamlined to be syns....

Are you saying they are not syn at all or more possible hybrids? I am not experienced with syns but I thought they looked like syns with the coloring.

I am a relative newcomer to viejas and paratheraps, but i would guess hybrids.

But may be wrong. Pure syns i would say they are not. Might me something else, pure as well.

Ask the store what the source of the fish is.

I'd assume hybrid...
