Just wanted to confirm that my baby is actually a ID shark like I thought? Whatcha think?

Thanks! he was a rescue. Guy had him in 4x1x1 for 12 years. Since I've taken him, in a single day, he's already looking so much better! Feeding properly and he's become good friends with my flagtails lol

IDS. I thought you were getting him a while ago. Poor stunted thing with painfully bulging eyes. It will be very interesting to see what happens with its growth.

Beware though, it may not last - a sudden change for good can be as deadly as a change for bad. Been reported before.

I got him on Saturday. I'm hoping it'll be a change for good.

That's what I mean. Good water and diet and care in your hands may kill him as he got way, way, way too used to old crappy conditions (to survive) that his body won't be able to adjust to the good conditions quickly enough. I think this is rare but such rescues and survivals are rare too. No firm statistics.
