Do u happen to know its collection point? How big is it? It looks like a female inirida IV or maybe a female anthurus, although due to the lack of spangles... More pics and if u could figure out its collection point that'd be good

No idea on collection point lfs got it by accident with some red pikes. I will take more pictures after it settles in my tank. Its roughly 6 inches now

The "Red pikes" were they atabapo??? Could be inirida IV female due to the Colombian collection point...

Quick FYI (Terminology red pikes doesn't mean shiaaat you gotta say species in order for it to mean something there are plenty of species "red pikes" out there across South America so red pikes don't mean anything to me or anyone really)

Well if i knew exactly which ones they were i would say... Obviously not listed and only said red pikes. And so i described them as i saw fit. They were red faced and small... And not atabapo... This one looked completely different and so i grabbed it. Owner at lfs just said that his wholesaler had him in with the other pikes. Packaged by mistake most likely.

Hmmmm did u happen to have any pics? It really matters what species the "red pikes" are because it can really help figure out what you have... Like for example I feel as if they actually are atabapo sp. since there has been a lot of Colombian fish imported lately... If they are atabapo then what you have is most likely inirida sp.

I already asked but how big is it? The lack of spangles makes me want to say it's a female inirida IV... Although it does look a little small

The generic name Red Pike has most often been associated with Cr. johanna until the recent importation of the Atabapo species. Did these red pike have a wide horizontal band down the middle of the body?
