Hi i bought these two Geo's today. They were both sold as geophagus heckelii..
I wanted to confirm they are indeed heckelii's

Yeah the top one sure does look like a Geophagus brasiliensis. I see a big difference in size ranges between male and female. Can anyone tell by the 2 photos if it is a male or female?
 
The bottom pic probably is Acarichthys heckelli (although it is of the tribe Geophagini, it is not Geophagus).
And not really sure what the top one is, but here is a shot of Geophagus iporanguensus (one of the braziliensus complex)
