These guys are pets in my one class, trying to get pics if I can. Thanks for the ID guys. 20160414_135917.jpg

yea, definitely Pinks....can you see red-spotting on any of their breast, fins or elsewhere.........it would appear somewhat faded and harder to see, but the females will still have it in some shape or form. 2nd from the left looks like the dorsal is a different color than the rest

I'll have to look closer tomorrow. He said I'm free to take whatever I want, kinda want to take him up on that offer.

I'd guess the one in the middle with orange in the fins also has some orange on the belly, indicating a female. The others look male to me. Pick up a pair ( or preferably a pair and extra females) and let the spawning commence!

Convicts are great little fish. All the personality of bigger Central American cichlids in a smaller package.

I'd have to set up a new tank for a pair. Don't think my current cichlids growing out would enjoy a breeding pair of cons. I've never actually owned a con before

Its a water cockroach. A pair could breed in a 10 gallon room temp tank with nothing but an airstone.

Not owning Cons is not a problem lol. Its harder to kill them than to raise them. But yeah, they dont always mix well with others.

probably best just to stik w/ a few females then. I like keeping groupps of females, or if u like more of the males' iridescent blue hues, then a group of males.

I was toying with the idea of just a smaller tank with just a female and maybe a few smaller catfish as cleaners. Keep it stress free and simple
