Nice Tokay! The Chinese Water Dragon is green in color while the Australian Water Dragon is grey and much more expensive and harder to find. So I'm betting it's a Chinese Water Dragon.

thanks........and i dident kno that:confused:

Do they wade or do they actually swim

you know how big they get right?? your looking at a BIG cage when adult. snakes are alot easier imo. but hey, their awesome as hell. i was just spoon feeding bruce some canned monitor food, what a ham.

if you provide enough water for them im sure they will swim

Why would someone tell you not to get a Ball python? They are fairly easy to take care of, they don't need a big enclosure, and they are friendly.

If I were you, I would take another look at Ball pythons.

yea they get on a average of threefeet.Im working on a custom enclosure now.

I have a ball python, why would someone tell you not to get one. They are one of the most gentle snakes kept as a pet. I would love to have a Chinese water Dragon but dont have the space for one. That is why I decided to go with a ball python.
