Probably the Poly section
So I found this tank while looking around online and I’m thinking I might try rescaping mine in a similar fashion. Seems like it gives plenty of open space for fish like polys but could still give my shyer cats and knife places to hide in the wood. Probably just anchor the driftwood to something along the back of the tank to make a sort of driftwood wall. Anybody tried anything like this? Any ideas or experience with this style scape with polys?

It’s a nice looking scape. I’m sure the polys natural instinct would be take shelter like Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 mentioned.

what I like is to get driftwood that has branches it can stand on to create cover from above but leaves the front view open and my polys seem to like it too

I employ a similar concept. My polys and ropes hide in the wood or vallis on the left and my knifefish love the big vine on the right. Not quite the same but it gives open spots and hiding holes!IMG_20180607_183410.jpg

Yeah as my polys are getting bigger they seem to be hiding less so I’m thinking more sandy space would be nice for them. My current setup has lots of places to hide in the wood so I wouldn’t want to get rid of that completely. I might have a poly revolt on my hands if I did that

Looks pretty grand! Especially the echnidorus at the back :)

Very nice scape.
