Here is my plan and let me know if I am missing anything. I am going to build a pond in my basement. It will be 15'X8'X3'. I was planning on using cinder blocks and mortering them up. Then use the 2" thick pink foam on the sides and bottom and linner over that. It will have a 6300gph pump going to a waterfall filter filled with bioballs. For lighting I was thinking of either 3 400W metal halides or maybe alot of flouresant lights from hardware store. Once cycled I will add my rays. Wondering if I should bother with UV sterilizer and will the cinder block be strong enough. If you can think of any other problems I will encounter please let me know.
