This got me thinking..

I have a AquaClear, could i put cut up scrubes in the pipe that pulls the water for a little more bio filtration? Im sure the pump would put it though..

Would it help?

it woud def add surface area but i think scrubbies do alot better in a wet dry environment. it would be better to have the water that is falling back into the tank fall onto and through a few scrubbies.

I wouldn't do it, IMO you wouldn't be gaining that much more bacteria, it would be inconvenient to have to pull apart the plumbing just to clean the media, and I reckon that they would put a strain on the pump motor, which would reduce your water turnover rate significantly and could destroy your pump.
