Was reading a post on a ray pond - where the guy was using a 300gal rubbermaid. Which arnt available in the UK! (If they are, I cant find them)

Anyway, was looking here:

Which I think would be ideal.

Was wondering whether the 5ft round pond or the 6x4 square one would be best?

I think either on would do, but in my preference I would say the round setup.

Was thinking of getting two - only thing is with round ones is that there'll be so much wasted space between the two...

i have a 300 gallon ploy stock tank for my rays so you should be perfectly fine with that.

I would personally use the 6x4 tank. And then, depending on how ridgid the tank is, cut out a viewing area and silicone a sheet of glass in.

Id also go with the 6x4x3 for the extra water volume. It would mke a nice 540gal if you could install a glass viewing area.

Have you thought of using a pond liner in a wooden frame?

Yes I have - but dificult to get the depth without adding lots of strengthening bars etc...

Was also thinking the same about a viewing window, although will probably be getting a glass tank for display purposes
