Ideal pond conditions

Hi, i am new to Monsterfishkeepers.com and i have a question. How warm does a outdoor pond need to be for silver/ jardini arro's? thanks!

Though I have no experience with tropical ponds I would agree with the above. There may be periods that the temp could gradually drop some, but I think maintaning the temp near 80 would be best.

I don't think it needs to be 82-84. I don't even keep my tank that warm. I left my Lei in an outside pond all summer last year and she was fine. I think as long as you stay above 70 degrees at night you will be fine. You need to be more concerned about the pond getting too hot during the day.

Doesn't need to be that hot for S. jardini, their habitat extends further south than S. formosus and they will live in cooler conditions. 22C/72F would be about as cool as you'd want it to get.

well the tempature in california is kinda weird sometimes its high sometimes its low it depends

if you in southern california you'lll need alot of heaters + $ to run them , as it's ok during the summer but in the winter the temperature dip to 40-50 at night. i've tried.
