I'm thinking of stepping into the EBJD game and setting up a tank with just two of them. No other fish would be in the tank with them, want would you recommend would be the bare minimum tank size?

yeah 75g would really be better for a pair, 55g would be good for a long while though but 75g you wouldnt have to upgrade and could have nice big school of tetras or something to have more activity in the tank

the main thing with ebjd is to get ones with good genes from a reputable source so that they dont have deformities or randomly die on you for no reason

for one, a 55g would be fine, for 2, a 55g will be fine for awhile but would def want to give them most room as adults

Thanks guys .... so 75 gallon for two and a school of tetras. The EBJD's won't eat the tertas. I was thinking maybe roseline sharks?

Theres no way of knowing what the Jacks will eat or ignore. I have 5 ebjd and each one acts differently. Also ebjd tend to be males. I'm sure you know what happens if even one male jd dont like a tankmate.
