For a native setup?

I am in the planning stage for a large plywood tank. It will be for Green Sunfish, Pumpkinseeds, perch, bullhead or two, crappie, crays, plants, for a living room display. I know numbers of fish are the biggest determining factor in size.

So, if you had the opportunity to build a large native display tank, what size would it be? How would you stock it?

I am thinking 72"x32"x32".

My dream setup. Well, the dream setup that is within reach (aka not a 5,000g) is a 500 right now. Just a nice planet tank with different sunfish.

Either that or a 100 gallon stream tank, with a madtom or two, darters or minnows.

500 is a big tank and a lot more work than I want to get into right now. :D

What would the dimensions be on your dream tank?

I'd go 96x30x24 for a sunfish tank,a 96x24x20 for a stream tank,and 96x48x30 for a predator tank.LxWxH
