I have a 75 loach setup with 5 burmese loaches and 2 horseface loachs. I'm planning to get some yoyos or tigers also. I'm looking for a center fish for the tank that wont be to mean to my loach colony. Give me your ideals please and keep in mind its a 75.

My concern is that some are nippers so they have to be able to move lol. Has to be something I know.

I'm trying to get that one single fish to be the center piece with the loachs......something that isn't aggressive and will be a good show piece.

Green terror.

Remember, loaches are fast, and with thier eye spikes, youd be surprised what they can live with. Mind you a midas would make short work of a loach, but a middle-weight like a green terror may be ok.

+1

I've kept GTs with clown and yoyo loaches with no issues.

My Angels always nipped my loaches, though they nipped everything in the tank. I agree on the Rainbowfish though, very beautiful and make great schooling fish. Have you considered Gouramis? Pearls are supposed to be peaceful while Trichopodus trichopterus are semi-aggressive.

Yea, but I want a single fish to go with them. I don't mind the gt I just thought that once they hit that 6+ mark they would overtake the loachs...I might be wrong though and thanks for all tje ideals so far.
